Cheap LCR/ESR tester instructions ?

Hi,  I've bought one of these things off eBay...



...and I know it's pretty obvious how to use it, but I was wondering if anyone had a manual for it ?  I'm puzzled what the 'KAA' markings are on the ZIF connector - and if I connect any components there, it gives me odd results - e.g. a resistor was detected as a zener, but detected correctly when I used the other (not 'KAA') sockets.

Any ideas ?

Could it be kathode/anode?
