I've passed over several ebay listings dozens of times, looking at this base model selling for over $8000. Well, listed, not necessarily selling. Scopes are located in China, show what look like new boxes but who knows. (I haven't posted link because there are several and they could change)
But this morning, my suspicious mind asks ... why did Keysight shut down the ebay store? (we repeatedly bought tens of thousands $$ from it) AND, where did all those virtually new scopes go?
Anyone else have a suspicious mind? Was there a sellout or worse, an ongoing buy/sell arrangement to keep Malaysian operations trim.
If so, we all lost. Solid little scope with same build quality as its $25k siblings and very "upgradeable".
added: Beijing Oriental Jicheng Co (destination on boxes) has been a Used-Line dealer since 2001. Just saying.

We are 90% Keysight in our lab. We used to send the equipment to Ft. Collins and then to Santa Rosa, CA for repairs and calibrations. Each year and each contract got worse where repairs and calibrations were both included and now the cost has doubled and repairs are separate entirely. After a $450.00 banana plug "assembly"? on the front of one of our 3458a's, we had to say Uncle!. Some intrepid former employees who used to work for them in CO and in CA have started their own repair and calibration services and have proven to be a great alternative. In regards to the scope, I think the eBay store will be back up after the holidays. We really like the DSOX1204G that we purchased from their ebay store. I would give it a couple of weeks to see if it doesn't return. Their pricing structure and lack of customer service are inviting competition. Somebody, please correct me if I'm wrong, I only see what we pay and know of the conversations I've had. If you have alternate experiences I would really like to hear some good news about Keysight. I know costs here in the US are off the chart, every time I read about the latest union contract or hear what my contemporaries are making back in Silicon Valley, just to afford a modest home I am blown away...

China might be a gig market for selling these Keysight scopes as well.
About 15 years ago on my first trip to China, many companies had extremely old scopes.
10 years ago, I saw RIGOL scopes everywhere
3 Years ago, all companies had KEYSIGHT scopes.
One company had so many in use, it was even impossible to count, I would guess I have seen 500 Keysight scopes in one factory.
I don't think this would happen in Europe or in the USA.
The market has changed and Keysight has changed.
And the Keysight changes are all not for the better.
I don't think the Keysight eBay store will come back.
Those days are unfortunately over.
I have bought many good items from the Keysight eBay store with very good experience.
Too bad ...

I think their support is still very good. They will quickly route you to those with appropriate expertise to help. All those I've gone through seem to have a genuine desire to find a solution for you.
20 years ago, in several small companies around our state, we would get visited by the HP / Agilent rep twice of more per year. As their sales models evolved, we were no longer worth pursuing. (like < $2 million)
The Keysight store has filled the gap for smaller ordering since around 2013 in my case. Oliver was always great to deal with. One of my best personal scopes was purchased some years back during Christmas week. Knowing what their max discounts were in the past, my jaw hit the floor when my low offer was accepted without question and the order immediately placed.
Keysight should be VERY wary about giving their corporate lawyers too much line. This leads to some of the negative changes we've seen, such as WHO they will sell to, WHO can own their equipment, etc.
And I will give them an A+ for having US support based (what seems like) entirely in the US, at least for calls of US origin.

Keysight still sells all of the same used stuff - just direct from the Keysight website.

There is a long thread about Keysight stopping selling to indivuals.
The closure of the eBay store may be related to this.

Shit, I just bought a N6705B with some munted knobs, I'm gonna have to run the Keysight Knob Gauntlet again. Wish me luck.

Yes, very true and still it feels differently these days.
In the ebay days of Keysight one could make an offer and sometimes a ridiculously low offer was accepted and one could afford a good used instrument that was otherwise out of reach.

Or to find a fool that pays good money to get rid of their trash.
Plenty of second hand KS stuff will hit the second hand markets for good price in the next 20 years, but without service manual or any support from them, it's huge liability to pay more than trash price, because it's just that, once something breaks.

You can have a knob if you return it for service for $2000.
The 3000T series are the same crap from find-a-part. Almost nothing is available but you can return to service to get it replaced. Not even knobs are shown although we know where they are. It looks like there was some sort of a change in policy because older products with the same parts still have those parts available.
Keysight lawyers do not want you injured while pulling that old knob off or pushing the new one on. I wish I were joking but this may not be that far off.
