Hi guys, I was looking into buying some test leads(4mm banana plugs with safety shroud). I have previously bought some Cleqee P1050 from Aliexpress for around 10 USD for 5 pcs. The quality is good, although the plastic is a bit china-like. I noticed that they have a new version, P1050-1, which is a bit different, but also rated for less current. The P1050 is rated for 15 or 20A(if I remember correctly), the P1050-1 is only rated for 10A. Yet, they are more expensive. Do you guys know the difference between these test leads? The only thing I can see is the CAT rating that is listed for the P1050-1, but not for the P1050.

Cleqee used to have a fairly good english web page(by Chinese standards), but it has been shut down due to too much traffic(as far as I can understand from the translated chinese message, that is).
What are your thoughts? I took one P1050 apart and the internal construction is identical to that of the P1050-1. Only difference is the creeoage to the "split" in the plastic cover, which is much larger on P1050-1 than P1050. Could this be the only reason for the CAT rating? What about the difference in current rating?
Thanks!

Good Morning Pete,
I got the P1503D set, a while back, and I've found them to have some handy accessories, and overall aren't as good as my Probemasters, but the accessories made them worth whatever I paid, which I see is now around $20. :-/O

Hi Bill, thanks for your reply! I have noted that they do have some nice-looking probe kits, but thats gotta wait for another time. Right now I only need test cables :)
