Constant Current Sink Recommendation
« on: March 08, 2024, 09:53:15 am »
Hi,

I'm looking for a constant current sink (ideally something off the shelf) to test my 3.6V battery under 2A-4A (2A is more realistic) loads for approx. 4 hours.
Initially I was going for a power resistor but the current would change with decrease in voltage.

Can anyone recommend some lab test equipment please?

I have a ET5410, I had mine for $175.
And for this kind of jobs it is ideal because it has a discharge option, so it won't over discharge your battery.
