I just picked up a Craftsman 982018 multimeter for a few bucks. It'll be a backup to the backup for my backup.
So far I haven't had any luck finding the manual online. Even though it obviously isn't necessary to use the meter, I like to have one when possible. If anyone has or knows where to find a copy, let me know. Or if you know who the manufacturer was and whether this was a rebadge of another model, that would help too.

Ok, looks like it's made by Colluck. I'll hit them up for a manual. Glad I only paid $5.

The saying is true, never buy a meter with a transistor tester/ hfe gain meter (or a 20A current range)....
But for only $5 (cheaper them some coffees) that's fine.

I hadn't heard that saying, but it definitely applies here!
Now I'm not so sure that Colluck made it. For one thing, it appears their meters are made in China (ok, Shanghai), whereas this one was made in Korea. I'm thinking that another company made it originally and Colluck now uses the design, not that it's anything so special that it would be worth emulating. Anyway, it's just a curiosity at this point.
