I am evaluating the Siglent SDS1104X-E vs my current Keysight EDUX1002G. When I set the cursor and pass/fail mask on my EDUX1002G, they get re-scaled / auto-adjusted when I change the timebase. The SDS1104X-E does not do the same. They remain the same asking the user to do extra steps to re-adjust them (the same with Gate definition on measurements). Is there any reason why the SDS1104X-E is not re-adjusting them? Is there any advantage on one vs the other?

How far will it rescale before you see undesirable artefacts? The mask is usually just an overlay on the screen histogram and not catching all the waveform(s). So it can be just a bitmap of the pixels to include/exclude rather than a geometric description of the mask opening.

About 2-3 timebase settings. I have not tested the cursors, but I think there is no limit
