hello

where would be a good place to source out and locating this testing unit for a descent price ?

from what i can tell , it was something that was used once for a lot of application(s) in electronic field in programming eprom(s)

Get in touch with Steven from Rhine Labs.  He does a lot of work with old programmers, and has a page mentioning the Data IO 29B.

He may not be interested in selling his, but can possibly help source and test/repair another, or suggest an alternative for your needs.

have seen that site w/ the two 29b s

pretty cool that he has them . . . .

am a member of the io group s

but have nt seen any activity there

. another site i found , but i have to get invited to do anything on it is https://forums.arcade-museum.com/

they seem to get involved w/ varies project s w using them

maybe i can source one out from there but i would need to be invited to do any thing =/

They pop up from time to time have to act fast. I just got my third one today 12/31. Most all will need work of some kind.

This is what you can expect when you buy this vintage 1980's Gear.. They May Say Tested and Working... LOL key word is Say!!
