My bench PSU teardown

This is my PSU auto built when I was 16, in '90, with the PCB designed by hand with pen.
Later in '97 I've upgraded it drawing a new PCB in AutoCAD and developing with UV. Added also the digital voltmeter as a kind of switch to use the voltmeter with a secondary input (the one on the left). Changed also final transistors with mosfets.

It is based on a "Nuova Elettronica" schematic.

After many years it is still working ;D

What's with TR2?  In the schematic it's a PNP (as one would expect), in the list of components it's a NPN Darlington.  Which is it?

They have missed the right TR2 on part list: TR1 and TR2 are equals while TR2 in part listis TR3 on schematics, the one that power the relè

As I said: the first PCB in '90 was by hand, then in '97 I redesigned the PCB in AutoCAD, the PCB you see in pictures. I don't know where is the first hand made PCB :-// ... maybe I'll trashed
