--- Quote ---Wait, VAT and import duties to Germany included?? --- End quote --- Yepp... --- Quote --- Do you think it's still worth the money though? For 240€? --- End quote --- The next that will be a little bit "better" is a ET4410, but it costs more. As long as you use the DE5000 inbetween its specs*, there´s hard to find an alternative for the same money. I´ve compared it to the calibrated meters we got at work, e.g. keysight U1733C. Measures with 1khz and 10khz are like you use always the same meter... 8) (* Some people are using 100Khz and measure a cap with µf - And wonder why the meter is "freaking out") |

They must learn how to use an lcr and the frequencies needed for the tests .... the difference between lytics and ceramics etc ... There is on the web some well crafted charts Frequency vs capacitance etc ... even some old lcr had them on a sheet etc ... |

--- Quote from: 2N3055 on December 23, 2022, 08:32:58 am ---Prices went up in last year. DE-5000 used to be around 100 USD on E-Bay. And tax and import rules changed recently so they charge tax on everything. --- End quote --- It seems to still be around that price - I don't know about the taxes though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394268326803 https://www.ebay.com/itm/383808004139 |
