| DHO 900 series USB hub |
| (1/1) |
| Gadjet:
I have just bought a DHO914 scope and really like it so far but the lack of WiFi is a pain, I found the hacks to get it working with a WiFi dongle but I'd like to use a USB memory stick and possibly a mouse as well all at the same time. So I've designed a custom USB hub shaped for the DHO900 series that I hope will work with the logic analyser plugged in at the same time. Here is a picture of the case for the hub (the electronics are on order) and I was wondering if anyone who has the logic analyser module could give me an idea if you think it will still plug in with this USB hub fitted I have a design also for the DHO800 series that would cover the socket for the logic analyser. |

Yes, it will fit -- the plug of the PLA2216 logic analyser is not wider than the cutout in the scope's front panel. It may be a bit of a fumble to pull the plug out again while the USB hub is installed, since you can't get a good grip. But you are not supposed to hot-plug (or unplug) the logic analyzer anyway. |

Get the files over FTP once you have WiFi working. Buy a stylus instead of using a mouse. |
