digital oscilloscope file format
« on: October 10, 2024, 05:08:25 am »
Am having digital oscilloscope owon sds1104.
-When i save my waveform into my usb-storage(not internal storage of scope), it only saves in ".bin" format. Is there a way i can change this format from bin to say csv.
-Also is there a software that i can use to analysis the waveform i've saved in my usb-storage, whether the format of the waveform is bin or csv or any other?
NOTE: I TRIED THE SOFTWARE PROVIDED IN THE CD-ROM BY OWON. THE ISSUE I HAVE WITH IT IS THAT, WHEN YOU SELECT "data table", THE TABLE DOES  NOT SHOW THE TIME CORRESPONDING TO THE VOLTAGE DATA-POINTS. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks in advance

I don't have that scope but have checked the user manual (page 29, or page 34 of the PDF file):
https://files.owon.com.cn/probook/SDS1104_Four-Channel_Oscilloscope_USER_MANUAL.pdf

Press Utility > Function > Save > Type: Wave.
Then the menu should offer you a "File Format" option, where you can select BIN, TXT, CSV.

Hope this works as advertised! By the way -- when asking such a model-specific question, it's best to put the exact brand and model number in the title of your thread.
