DIY Active Differential Probes for Audio Applications
« on: October 15, 2022, 10:50:36 pm »
I am looking an active differential probe suitable audio signal analysis. I would like to pull a -80db signal out of the world of noise, etc! Single-ended probes often fall short even with 'Signal Averaging' and other mathematical tricks found on instrumentation gear.

Do y'all know of a DIY kit or an reasonably priced manufactured product?

I have a PICO 4262 USB Scope designed for Hi-Res audio applications (16 bit, 5MHz) and a Rigol DM3058E 5-½ DMM, and they both would benefit from a good differential probe set when looking around the 'floor' level. I don't do many higher voltage level stuff.

Suggestions?
