DMM that beeps short and long in Diode Mode?
« on: May 09, 2024, 02:15:58 pm »
Hellow guys, glad to be here.
I am looking for a DMM that does that , Beeps Short if the component is  ok beeps  long when is not.

What you would suggest me, i am on budget so i can  not afford too many $$.

Thank you very much.

It's not entirely clear to me what you mean by "OK vs. not OK". But I assume you are after the feature discussed here:

UNI-T UT117C provides this feature , often common on Fluke meters

The older thread I linked to mentions the UT117C, as well as various other Uni-T and Brymen meters which have this function.

Definitely the 87V (short beep then indication of forward voltage, continuous beep on short circuit), but we also have fluke 115/117/175/179 and a few other models, I could test these the week after next.
