I bought them (thankfully they're inexpensive trash 😉). Most of them don't come with any reference values written. NONE of them come with any form of certification for the values written. The one unit I received that had values written, was mostly bs. I think 3 out of all the written numbers were accurate (checked across multiple meters with higher digit counts than the reference numbers). The only value for any devices like these are if you know they're measured/calibrated from a reliable source. --- End quote --- I am selling them with the correct values... just in case: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/155763974742 |

Except for the set from Probemaster I have found nothing... --- End quote --- ... My next favorite have been the Brymen leads. --- End quote --- The Brymen silicone leads are great and a great value - 10 EUR (excl VAT) from welectron: Brymen BL21S2-T4SC Silicone Test Leads Better than Fluke's TL71's in my opinion. |

Hi, First and foremost, I'm looking for solid taps to safely contact the "turrets" on the board. With measuring tips alone you can forget it, because you never have really safe contact. Also, these clips are no good, as I found out(Pic). If no other ideas come, I will probably buy the "big" Probemaster set from Welectron. |

I have a couple of those sets, they're great. I don't know what welectron carries, but here you can order individual accessories directly from PM. There are certain things I needed a few extras of. |

--- Quote from: Veteran68 on September 11, 2023, 02:19:35 pm ---I do wish that particular board was built for a more practical battery, such as the A23 12V battery the purple board has. .... My favorite among those AD584 variants is the one with the purple board, as it has a practical battery, the option to use a DC plug, and includes reference resistor measurements also. However now that I have a DMMCheckPlus rev6 on order with all options, these will be relegated to backup or consensus/sanity check purposes. --- End quote --- I also have the purple AD584LH from the same AliExpress seller link. I have two HP34401A with both unknown calibration history. One required a 5V supply electrolytic to be replaced when I got it. However both units read within about 0.0005% of each other. Compared with supplied cal (hand written not the common printout supplied with others, but no date) they both read 0.01% to 0.025% high. Not miles apart sure but noticeable having the two HPs agreeing to the last 5 counts or so out of 6 digits. |
