« on: February 28, 2017, 07:14:26 pm »
Ive just got hold of vgc Fluke 123 scope meter, it seems to be working OK but when I increase the  time/div the dc volt display in the top corner take along time to refresh, when its in auto mode it very fast, is this the way they are or has it got a problem ?

Thanks

That's how it works with the 120 series ScopeMeters. The primary and secondary measurements are updated at the end of each waveform paint. In fact it does not seem to have an independent DMM but calculates the measurements from the waveform. So a slow timebase does indeed result in slow measurements as well. Up to 20 ms/div the refresh rate is fine but anything slower can get frustrating if you need fast feedback.

Thanks for the info, as they say, you live and learn.
What a shame, nice little unit but far to slow for what I need it for

Thanks again
