BWD 539C Oscilloscope
« on: April 14, 2019, 07:40:56 am »
Hello people!
This is my first post :)
I recently bought my first oscilloscope
a BWD 539C that looks in a really good shape.
Last night after playing around doing some tests with my signal generator I noticed that after I put the generator away tthe scope kept showing some sort of signal but not a sine wave but a very deformed wave in the same position I used for playing with the generator... So thats my question... What do you think is causing this? Could it be the charged big capacitors in the generator? Or my led lights? Or an internal fault in my oscilloscope?

Thanks
Edgar

Probably just mains RFI from your surrounding appliances.
You can find the manuals for the 539's here:

Some stuff seen @ Siglent HQ cannot be shared.
