Does the Tektronix 3034B Not have AC trigger coupling?
« on: November 03, 2024, 09:32:26 pm »
I recently acquired this scope. But when I tried to change the trigger coupling to AC. The only options i see are DC, HF reject, LF Reject, and Noise reject (DC low sensitivity. I would have thought that I would have been able to change it to AC trigger coupling. with it being a Tektronix. or is there something wrong with the scope?

The TDS3000 series does not have the feature even though older models have it.  Other features that disappeared in this series include the high resolution acquisition mode, segmented memory which they call fast frame, and the trigger frequency counter.

Oh.  And equivalent time sampling.

Will "LF Reject" mode work for your AC-coupling needs?

It is not unusual for low frequency reject to serve in place of AC coupling.
