They distribute Brymen meter, but I thought that was under the Brymen name only?
They also carry my EEVblog branded Brymen meters.

The Brymen DMMs aren't stamped because they rebrand for various companies.  There are stickers in various locations that can be customized for the seller, whether it's Welectron, EEVblog or Greenlee, for example.  In the case of Welectron, the Brymen logos are still present, but Welectron has their own custom label on the back for the serial number and for some models the sticker on the front also has Welectron's name.

Does Welectron stamp their name on Brymen multimeters purchased from them?

Thanks.

This is the back of my BM857s:

When I ordered it I ordered the special version with gold leads. They emailed me right back saying it wouldn't be in stock for two weeks but they could make one for me by opening up an ordinary one and swapping the leads inside the box, was that OK?

(yes)

As an interesting aside, I had to leave the Bryman name on the label on my EEVblog units, otherwise it would have required a new UL approval process even though it's exactly the same thing. Some red tape thing.
Same for the model number, I couldn't change it, but they could offer me BM786 which was already part of the slew of approvals they got for the whole 78x series. You can see this on the PCB inside with all the model numbers listed. But they ended up not offering the 786 model to the market, so it was free for me to use.

With the 121GW that design was done from scratch with Kane, so I could have any model number I wanted.

I also have a new pocket meter coming from Sanwa, and that is completely EEVblog branded, but I think still has Sanwa moulded into the case on the back, and I renamed it the 1980s
I could do that because Sanwa do their own in house certification.

My BM869s also has "Welectron" printed on the front but it also still says "Brymen".

I have a BM789 from Welectron and it doesn't have their name on the front.  It could be that there wasn't room.

It's no secret that above a certain purchase quantity, the Chinese will print whatever you want on the case.

Brymen is company based in Taiwan, not China.

Well, technically, Taiwan is name of island, officially country is the Republic of China, and people there are Chinese. Just saying...

A recent poll has Taiwanese people stating that 67% consider themselves primarily Taiwanese, 28% both and only 3% primarily Chinese.
66% consider China a "major threat", only 10% think China is no threat.

My BM789 doesn't, but my BM235 does have Welectron on the front.

The BM037 from Welectron has their name on the serial sticker on the back, but not the front.  Too small I think.

That looks like a sticker.

(a) that means very little to nothing. With some effort and money one can get people to state pretty much anything.
(b) hundreds of millions of Chinese very much disagree and want - and without the slightest doubt - will reunite (as they call it).
(c) you needlessly dragged it into politics
(d) pretty much everyone perfectly well got what was meant - or do you have credible and solid evidence that only chinese companies will print whatever a large customer wants on their products, but taiwanese (or french or north-american or ...) companies won't? (Kindly note that in this very thread we saw clear evidence that a taiwanese company actually did...)
VxWorks - Yes! Linux - meh. Windows - Thanks no, definitely.
