Title: Don't just rely on your test gear
Post by: atw60444 on October 19, 2013, 02:31:40 pm
I'm not a big forum poster, as you can see. Just to give you a good laugh, I've spent several days looking for frequency instability in an elderly Ham Radio Tranceiver. Icom, IC-271.
Convinced that the signal generator  output from my Stabilock 4031 radio test set was reliable.
What a twit.  :palm:
Here's a short video of the output from the Stabilock into my Rigol DGA815:

I think you found your next repair-project :)

I wish you a "findable" error, it's been months since I started working on my Rohde&Schwarz CMTA84... still faults "to go". :scared:
