HP E4437B Vector Signal Generator, replacement LCD?

Hi,

Just got an HP 4437B vsg, fully loaded with dual arb and extra signal memory. Great.   :-BROKE Also has AWGN which is great for receiver testing.

Everything works great but the LCD is a little dim. Common with these machines.

Does anyone know a source to get a new one? Is it even possible to get a replacement TFT? That would be sweet.

most likely the same lcd as in the infiniium scopes.

you can always swap the tube out.

Right,

I'll have to open it up and check the CCFL. Did find some complete assemblies but they go for $250 so that's a bit of overkill.

Nice bit of kit none the less!

Thanks, interesting. I did a search but somehow missed this. I will be ordering a new CCFL.
