Fixed sufficiently that there is no determinable problem in practical use. Just but it.

I did just but it.  Yet, worried.  I look for jitter in my circuits, not my scope  ::)

+1  :)
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

I have got an email from a Rigol tech who tells me that there will be a new firmware update scheduled for release in October that should fix some of the misc. issues that still remain.

These are the main ones I hope to see fixed (besides the freeze-up problem of course):

I got the scope anyway, and so far, so good.  The bugs I'd been worried about don't seem to be present.   Very nice and responsive.  I don't have an avalanche pulse generator but one of my projects has a nice sharp edge and I got a rise time of at most 5ns from it (I'd heard 4.2 or 4.4ns may be typical).    It looks like they knocked themselves out implementing variable persistance/phosphor emulation.   Its never quite the same as a real CRO, but they tried.

Check tequipment.net for it. And if you do happen to buy it from them don't forget they give a discount for eevblog members!

That's great!  How do I get the discount? Do you know how much it ends up costing?

Sent you a PM with the discount code. You can also get them to apply the code for you if you use the chat system on the website.
