DS1074Z plus unlocking problem

I purchased a DS1074Z plus in 2017 and then decided to retire. As a consequence, the scope sat quietly in a box for the interim.
Now after roaming about the country in my RV I have a desire to use this scope. So I first upgraded the firmware to...

RIGOL TECHNOLOGIES,DS1074Z Plus,DS1ZD*********,00.04.04.SP4

Then I tried riglol 1.03d both online and locally got the same key from each.
After reading all the postings on this subject I tried the commands to uninstall and then install the features using DSER options.
I tried the scpi commands using ultra sigma via USB and then via Ethernet and just telnet to port 5555.
the :SYST:OPT:UNINST command does not remove the trial options which have now expired.
 
All attempts to downgrade the firmware failed.

Entry via the control panel also yields the same response "invalid license".

So, Has the private key changed or what?
Has anyone else had this experience lately?

Riglol doesn't work on the "Plus" versions.

This is a 'MSO' type even it says DSO. It is upgradable to MSO so it has different hardware, it includes the LA part.
Its a bit difficult though here is the procedure from youtube

(if you are lucky and there is a JTAG pinheader connector, in later models this connector is not in place and task is really dodgy)

You should use the procedure to license a MSO1000Z -> rigup.  (not riglol)

Must make a memdump since your scope has it's own private key. Explore Rigol's "sniffing I2C" thread to see the various methods to obtain that dump.
