DSView time reference not at trigger position

(1/1)

eTobey:
Hi,

there has to be a way, to have the trigger beeing the reference. But i cant find a way, and i couldnt find anything about it in the manual.

ebastler:
This was submitted as a Sigrok feature request in 2019. (See the Google hit below -- Sigrok's actual bug tracker seems to be offline at the moment.) It might still be unresolved in Sigrok and DSView?

Edit: Ah, I just saw that you have already found the DSView issue tracker at https://github.com/DreamSourceLab/DSView/issues and have submitted this item. That's probably the best place. And looking at the slightly earlier entries there, DSLogic seem to follow up actively on submissions.

Yeah, i am quite active ;-). I even made a workaround script, that even adds some automated measurement. Its done via a decoder it shows the time for the right edge. The trigger time has to be set everytime, though.

The script has to go into "C:\Program Files\DSView\decoders".

UPDATE:
I updated the script: now the reference can be any edge of another channel. Also i interval measurement.
