DY294 transistor tester – modifying and teardown
« on: September 15, 2017, 10:53:26 pm »
Hi group. I have this tester for over 5-6 years, and I use it as a two pins component checker mostly but doing this require to put small wires inside the collector and the emitter sockets which is not the best idea. So I desided to install standard 4mm banana jacks for 2 component measurement.
The job is nothing fancy – just put two connectors and solder them the collector and the base pins.

This unit is just a little bit "how ya doin" inside but it works well. The PCB is rev. 15 :)
