Anyone has this LCR meter? Its the least expensive bench top LCR I have seen on ebay but can't find any reviews or information.
eBay auction: #302629359521

check your link

Just trim off the front of the URL.
It's not a familiar brand or model to me, the specs seem to be pretty good... but who knows how the performance actually is with this sort of thing. Up in this price bracket, there should be some decent used LCR meter options available from well known companies, anything in particular points towards this one?
-
No only reason is the nice LCD display.
-
I have a East Tester ET3502 on it’s way. When I get it. I’ll post some pictures on a tear down.
I’m wondering what the build quality is like when I open it up.
-
... it is wildly used in product R&D ...
So it must be good, eh?
Read carefully... the ad copy says "10 Hz~1 MHz testing bandwidth", but the particular model being sold is only 50kHz.
There are any number of good LCR meters from established, reputable companies that will outperform it. Why roll the dice on this one? Just because it has a sexy LCD display?

The model which I purchased was the 10Hz-200kHz(ET3502). I wanted to try something new instead of the older HP units. Something different to try.
The Lan port was what I really wanted. Basically is the Agilent model command set.
When it arrives, I will update with some photos.

Dwaine, has your ET3502 arrived yet? Curious about your impressions.
-
It’s arrived. So far I like it a lot. The build quality is definitely not a Keysight standard. They are using a FPGA board. The only complaint so far is the unit is only 240volts power. So the little step down power block that came with it is dead after about one month use.
Here is the website in English. I’m going to send them an email asking for the latest firmware update.

The display is real nice. I’ll also do a tear down with some photos.

Hows that tear down coming ? Any impressions you can share ?

The power supply that came with my unit blew up and took out the power supply circuit board. I have the new power supply board installed and my unit is up and running. I'll take some pictures of the various circuit boards..
-
I got a new power supply board from the seller that I bought it from. Attached is the documentation that came with my LCR meter. It's definitely better than I expected.
I'll take some pictures of the internal boards and post them.

Here is a picture of it running.

Hello Cathy, can you post few pictures showing us inside of the ET3502 LCR meter?
Regards,
Pierre

Still No Inside Photos? LOL
-
Does he have normal support? Available without letters to Chinese friends. I already have a Chinese device without support.
- firmware?
- instructions for calibration?
Can he plot graphs? I don't see pretty graphs in the instructions. Why then a huge display?
Maybe there are ways to unlock 1 MHz for the 200 kHz model?

Hi Dwaine, can you please post few photos of internals? Just want to know if it is worth the precision it is promising.
The warranty should be over by now.
