Title: Easter egg on an Agilent PSG board <3
Post by: nexus on January 25, 2022, 03:42:56 am
Was poking around a PSG that has a bug I need to track down. Saw this on one of the boards, hehe. <3

Its a 2012 model year instrument, Agilent branded. I wonder if the KS people do stuff like this, or any of the other TE vendors still.

I remember seeing killroy inside of a hybrid microwave amplifier that was torn down on the Signal Path: https://youtu.be/eUpxhZ0UEt4?t=2323 (at around 38:38)

Yep! Still happens if you know where to look. In software/firmware, too.

I am pleased that the tradition is still embraced! Will have to peek inside more instruments.
Of course, if you would like to send one in for an easter egg hunt that would also be fun!  ;)
