Hello
I just received my EEVBLOG-Bryman DMM. Looks to be a nice unit. However, what is that little magnetic string holder for, how does it work?

It slides into the back of the blue holster to act as a hanger or mag-mount. If you can't work it out, I can post a couple photos to help.

I figured it out. I was overthinking it 😬. Not the snuggest Of fits. It does not fall out?

See photo for how I attached mine. The raised tab on the holster retains the underside of the hanger once it is pushed in.

It seems snug enough to me. I tend not to use the hanger all that much, but it seems fine when I do. The magnetic mount works fine stuck to a vertical surface like a filing cabinet.
Main reason for buying was to support Dave, but it is also a really nice meter to use. I am hoping to buy it's big brother (EEV 121GW) soon!
