I didn't get new codes from anyone so I hit up tequipment in their online chat. They told me the "old code" I already had was supposed to still be valid, despite their system telling me it was no longer valid. The support person I talked to discussed it with his manager and verified that the code should have been working. I tried uppercase, lowercase, mixed case.. nothing worked.

What they did instead was to call me and put the order in over the phone. Then they manually applied the same percentage of discount to each item as if I'd used the code.

I ordered a JBC Extractor-Inserter Cartridge Stand and a handful of new tips and saved about $30 on the order!

If you're having trouble using the "old code" on tequipment.net it would probably be worth the trouble to contact them via chat or phone.

The tequipment forum user account could be checked by Lukas or Evan or other Tequipment employees, and probably is not always checked on a regular basis.

You can always just call them and they can help you out.

I'm seeing the exact same issue using the EEVBlog code. The website says the code is expired. Was placing an order for a JBC DR560-A and matching vacuum pump to go with my DDE. TEquipment have been good to work with in the past, so I'll likely just place the order and let them know about the issue. If I can't get the discount, that's fine.

Lucas confirmed the actual discount code sent by drussel is correct. But it didn't work in the cart, so I just proceeded with what price was offered.

Anyone can explain where is the discount applied? To the first visible price when not logged in or members price?

I've always had it taken off of the pre-tax price shown at checkout. Only recently has this not worked.

I just used it this afternoon and it worked fine. Using the secure checkout method there is box for entering the code that shows up after entering your shipping information - but before you get to the payment information section.

I recently ordered a new scope from them and being a noob I didn't realize they even had a discount code.

Oh well, I've had worse things happen to me.

These codes are really intended for longstanding EEVblog participants and some of the vendors providing codes like this will even check your forum record to be sure you're actually an active participant before they will want to apply their discount to an order for you.

Perhaps if you try to participate in the forum for some time people will be more helpful providing codes for you, this isn't just a join-up-to-get-free-coupons forum. $:-\$
