EIP 545B Frequency Counter TCXO Adjustment?
« on: April 10, 2021, 06:09:07 pm »
Hi,

I recently acquired an EIP 545B frequency counter.  The unit checks out fine but is a little off frequency when compared to my Rubidium standard.  Varies between +4.1 Hz and 5.5 Hz or so over the course of a day.

Looking at the manuals I've downloaded the instructions say to adjust the TCXO, but from the various drawings I'm not quite sure where the TCXO is.

I have a pretty good idea but before I go tweaking anything it would be nice to have some confirmation.

Thanks!

That was the pot that I guessed as well.  I will note the initial position and then give it a tweak.  If that doesn't do the trick I'll just return it to the original position.
