EIP 575 powermeter (OPT 02) calibration
« on: January 13, 2024, 05:47:55 pm »
Hi Forum,

i converted my EIP 575 a few years ago to have the power meter option. However, i never recalibrated it. I now wanted to do that, as i just learned that the procedure is described in the 545A manual. However, there's one thing i don't understand. The manual states on p02-6:

Code: [Select]

4. Using the following formulas, justify the correction to a number between 10 and 20.

....

5.  Program the corrections in these locations.
                     0000-0005 inclusive
                     0032-0037 inclusive
                     0064-0069 inclusive

Looking at a real rom image (6400002-04H_Power-Meter_A107.BIN) i see:

Code: [Select]
00000000  13 13 13 11 12 12 13 14  14 14 15 15 15 16 17 18  |................|
00000010  1a 1a 1b 1b 1b 1c 1d 1e  1e 21 23 26 29 2e 31 3c  |.........!#&).1<|
00000020  42 46 4d 53 5b 63 6b 73  7b 83 8b 93 9b a2 aa b2  |BFMS[cks{.......|
00000030  ba c2 13 13 13 11 12 12  13 14 14 14 15 15 15 16  |................|
00000040  17 18 1a 1a 1b 1b 1b 1c  1d 1e 1e 21 23 26 29 2e  |...........!#&).|

Which isn't what i expected - from the text above  was assuming bytes 0000-0005 are all the same values, but apparently they are not. Anyone here know how these values are generated?

Thanks!

Sven
