Does anybody have experience in removing the ceramic circuit modules inside a "A3 source assembly" of a 8753 VNA?
I attached an image of the ceramic modules which are held in place by plastic frames.
The module i want to remove to inspect the interface connections is the one on the right marked with the red frame.
Things i need to know is e.g. if the ceramic board must be held down in place while lifting the frame?

Thanks :)

No problem  :)
The contact problems clearly came from the "rubber" contact pads which were not elastic anymore and did not apply enough pressure to give reliable contact.
The good thing was, that underneath the ceramic pcb, they used the same pads for contacting the gnd-plane.
So I simply swapped the yellow marked ones with the red marked, did some contact cleaning with IPA and now the contacts are perfect again for the next 25 years. ;)
(pictures shows state after exchange)
