Elma (aka Brymen) BM829 on sale for $98.99 shipped in US - !!!SCAM!!!
TomKatt:
EDIT - nevermind, I think this is a scam site. I thought it might be too good to be true... They also have Flukes for pennies on the dollar. Proceed at your own risk. But it's nice to dream :P
Was Googling around on Brymen meters and discovered this offer from TopCon: https://www.testingtoolsshop.com/wattmaster-rms-digital-multimeter-watel-bm829/
No experience with this company, but they have a US address.
Seems like a good deal!
My Greenlee DM820A (aka Brymen BM827S) has proved exceptionally reliable over the years. Just ordered Dave's BM235 for a second meter because I've recently discovered the usefulness of the low impedance feature when working on mains wiring. This should hold me for a while ;D Kinda wish I had found this before I ordered the BM235, but it's already on it's way and at least I'm supporting Dave a little bit ;-)
