Title: EMC Partner Transient 2000 ERROR ERR5L33E

Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you and congratulations for a such a beautiful and productive website.

I´m having an issue with the Surge generator module on my Transient 2000.

The message displayed is as follows:

Generator malfunction
==============
High-Voltage overshoot

According to the manual, this error is issued as ERR5L33E.


Any help would be much apricated.

Hi!

First of all we should exactly understand what is the meaning of "overshoot".
There are only one overshoot is mentioned in the manual. No any "undershoot" but only "no high-voltage".
Is undershoot also considered here as an overshoot?

I'm inclined to believe that the more common fault may be a high-voltage undershoot.
In any case begin from an internal inspection. High voltage usually leaves traces...

Have you controlled the surge waveform?
