there are no such programs for FSL3.
you can contact anyone, who takes them from the R&S site,
but can sell  much cheaper. for example to me.
I work with FSL3/FSL6 before.

I have updated the firmware from 5.0 to 14.0 in my FSH3, but now it won't boot anymore. Can someone share me older versions from v5 and the like?  Or come up with tips how I can get my instrument working again?

What's the current state of option unlock hacks for the RT* series? (RTO2000 etc.)

I have a CMU200 and I'm trying to get the K14 (Stereo FM) option working. Now here is the interesting thing. There is nothing in the SWOPT.DAT file. Loads of options are enabled by default, related to mobile phone testing. There are a few that are not enabled, and K14 is nowhere to seen.
I can use the key generator to generate keys, which are accepted, get written into the SWOPT.DAT file, but does not enable the option. Even if I edit the file, the option will not appear. I don't care about the various cell phone testing options, but I'd really like to get the stereo fm modulation working. Is it possible that some units have hard-code options and SWOPT.DAT is ignored? It is a 1100.0008.10 unit, if that matters.

Are you looking at the correct file?

Yes. Definitely. If I enter an option from the setup menu, the code is accepted and it appears in the file. But the option is never enabled. Even if I clear the content of the file, the list of enabled options doesn't change. A number of options, like stereo fm or time based demo don't even appear on the list.
That is why I wonder if some units may have some kind of hardcoded option list based on the hw config. I even tried with a disk image from an other unit and it behaves the same. So it is not a softwer configuration question.

I think there's some info on this thread (or the forum) where the EEPROM where the lics are stored is write-protected. So you have to disable the protection.

I think I didn't dream this...

As someone has asked previously: is there such a keygen for the RTB scopes?

Hello, friends!

Today, after flashing FSH6 to version 14, I noticed that the screen refresh is slower than before. Keep this in mind when updating.

Hey folks, I wanted to play around with running 'desktop apps' on the web with egui + Rust + wasm. Long story short I made a keygen app, It should work for the CMU200 and related units, and the FSxx units. I included all the known seeds for the FSxx units, but I don't know how validity / description maps to different models. Descriptions are just from the original Post #7 code. If anyone has model-specific lists etc. I can incorporate that. Feedback is welcome.

Am I right in assuming that none of this will work for a SMU200A ?

It seems like that the 1100.0008.10 model (called 'high end service tester') of the CMU200 has a fixed set of options, based on what hardware is installed and no other options can be enabled. Now it would be interesting to find out where it stores the model number and see how it can be changed. It needs to be changed to 1100.0008.02 'universal radiocommunications tester'.

Hello, friends!

I have an old FSH6, I want to improve it. I need keys for options. I spent 2 days with the key generator program, but I still don't understand how to run it. Can you help with the keys?
