EU3458A

As far as I can see there is no difference whatsoever from the "normal" 3458A - so a purely bureaucratic marketing exercise (and most likely a price increase)   :palm: .

Cheers

= lead solder.

In such instrument could be more than that. Let's say EU-restricted hazardous substances.

... IIRC, these have been imported into the EU before the ROHS ban deadline.
Hefty price tag. The 3458A is more than 20 years old and is a replacement candidate, definitively.
The 34465A or the 34470A would be a good design to cling to. Its a pleasure to use, has a lot better connectivity, a truckload of added functions, ...
They miss an LTZ1000, however. :)

Update per 9/18: They now call them EU3458A (8ppm) and EU3458AX (4ppm). Prices up by ca. 20%, they are old stock (not lead free) and must
be ordered directly from Keysight. VAT bills only on request. Keysight says price increase is due to storage cost (?!, I guess it is due to the fact that all
the stored models need a recalibration before shipping). IMHO, this is not worth the money, because this thing is *really* old (VFD, no USB, no graphic display).
I ordered a 34470A. That should do it, and what I hear Fluke as well as Keysight work on new reference multimeters.
