TTi are well known for shipping lemons. “Friday afternoon syndrome”. It’s usually related to the hand assembly steps.

First time I opened my Stanford Research clock generator to change the fan I discovered, scrawled in sharpie on the main PCB, "happy Friday".

Hi,

did you find out what the issue was?
I have an EX355P with the same issue.

Can you make a photo of the inside like the one from the thread opener?
Maybe it is from the same manufacturing batch or it is the same instrument.
Why do old schaffner filters blow? - because there are rifas inside.
Why do rifas blow? Only time shows if the best new thing is really best. Here it is not.

It could be simply sticker on the front panel replaced or wrong from the factory. Or just a wrong firmware loaded. IMO there is possibility to be manufacturing fackup.

Never heard of fakes, so I'd say more likely this.
