Could someone explain to me why 50,000 wfs are only reached at 20 ns and it decrease to lower base time? It is due to software, hardware or both. Thank you very much. Cheers. |

I think it is mainly due to hardware... Well, they have no custom ASIC. |

But I do not understand why the Rigol DS2000 not keep the 50,000 wfm/s for time base < 20ns. This could be improved via firmware? |
