Title: Flir Tools activate options
Post by: reallybigone916 on August 11, 2015, 04:32:25 am
Is there a way to turn on the thermal blending, picture -in picture and etc options?

I guess it's something related to the camera model, like:

if camera=E8 then activate advanced options

In this case the only way to have that options is to hack the camera.

Maybe someone more experienced can confirm my guess.

It's a E30 upgraded to E60.

The options will appear on Flir Tools only if I take the image using PIP, fusion, or Isotherm mode.

you are right,
flir tools can't associate the thermal IR_188m.jpg with real DC_188n.jpg

the reason is the missing PiP overlay offset  :)
Code: [Select]
exiftool -pip* FLIR0013.jpg
PiP X1                          : 60
PiP X2                          : 259
PiP Y1                          : 45
PiP Y2                          : 194

Wonder if it's possible to config the cam to record as IR_XXXX vs. GR_XXXX (two separate files) while shooting thermal camera mode.

it's not a bug it's a feature of the older Flir cameras

Exx:
- two different images
- the FOV of real image is significant greater as the thermal image
