Fluke 190 Scopemeter Series II vs III
« on: December 29, 2024, 08:03:08 pm »
I've been shopping for a rugged portable oscilloscope and have been looking at the Fluke 190 series.
I am having a hard time finding a good usability comparison between the series II and series III models.
How does the usability and responsiveness of the UI compare between the two generations?
I think the record length is the same, which is pretty shocking given that they were released a decade apart.
The two generations appear to be largely the same apart from the higher res display, 1000V/div, and wifi connectivity of the later model.
Is it worth getting the series III given how relatively inexpensive the older series II models are becoming?

Also, does anyone have recommendations regarding the 2 channel + DMM models vs. the 4 channel models? More channels seems better but the ability to have a handheld DMM with trend plots also seems useful.
