Fluke 287 289 Firmware update version 1.16 now posted
elex_enthusiast:
does the new firmware update requires calibration? :-DMM
Uup:
I don't think calibration is required after an update, unless the firmware you are updating from would necessitate it (very early revision). I updated my 289 from 1.13 and didn't require a calibration.
ben_r_:
Yea shouldnt require an new calibration.

Hey Nermash (or anyone), do you reckon, in theory that a similar homemade cable based on Silicon Labs CP210x would work on my 287? Not having any luck, firmware app won't connect, and can't see anything with serial comms software (e.g. Hyperlink). Cable works 100% fine on my Scopemeter 196.
Cheers.
