Title: Fluke 289 backup capacitors
Post by: mzacharias on August 25, 2015, 05:32:21 pm
I have a 289 purchased new in the summer of 2012.

I'm wondering at what point I should start to worry about the backup cap and perhaps when to replace it as a preventive measure. I have avoided opening the meter for any reason so far, just on general principles.

Suggestions?
