Here in Europe, the original C280 pouch for the 289 costs 74 Euro which is well 84 USD. Too much for just a purse. So I looked for something reasonably priced and found this pretty ugly pouch (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Neceser-Zipper-Makeup-Bag-Neceseries-Cosmetic-Bag-Flower-Beauty-Case-Make-Up-kit-bag-Purse-Organizer/32903388677.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.20.72a76e90OFFmZ6&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_2_10065_10068_319_317_10696_5728811_10084_453_454_10083_10618_10304_10307_10820_10821_537_10302_536_5733215_5733315_10843_328_10059_10884_5731015_10887_5733115_100031_321_5733413_322_10103_5733611_5733512,searchweb201603_55,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=9128c1f8-edbc-43f0-a2c4-d7ac36dc3d7a-2&algo_pvid=9128c1f8-edbc-43f0-a2c4-d7ac36dc3d7a).
:palm:
But, before you hospitalize me: It's as well available in dark blue or grey. There is enough space for the probes, the IR/USB adapter and other mumbo jumbo.
For the price of barely $3 :wtf: it's a perfect solution.

I wont argue, the inportant is : you have somekind of carrying case / basic protection and place to put the tests leads i dont care the color, it would be pink, i would not make a fuss over it.

Well i got in a store a portable DVD player case in last unit or stock out for 5 aerials :P It is fairly protected, can acommodate two meters, the leads and some spare fuses.
They can be held inside the bag to be used. Example:

Or you could do much better(8 USD clone): https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Soft-Carrying-Case-Bag-for-Fluke-87V-28II-27II-88V-1621-287-289-1587-279-87-5-88/231395163129 (https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Soft-Carrying-Case-Bag-for-Fluke-87V-28II-27II-88V-1621-287-289-1587-279-87-5-88/231395163129) ;)

Just be aware the velcro straps can leave black marks on your meter, as they did on mine. Can't get the marks off again.

Looks good. But costs four times the price of mine. ;D

Try looking at small washkit bags or large pencil cases.

I have a number of the Fluke cases but never liked them very much and rarely if ever use them, nothing says come steal my multimeter on a job better than a Fluke labelled case. Anyway, last year I found these brand new roll-up cases at our local council recycling center for fifty cents each so I bought six and in hindsight should have grabbed sixty of them. They are made from very tough material with a couple of clear pockets for leads, batteries and other accessories. Out of habit I still wrap the meters in bubble wrap and remove the batteries before putting them away.

niiiiiiiice travel pouch +1 :-+

Very neat indeed and add some silica bags to absorv the humidity if you have such problems. The DVD bag that i got was in promotion for 5 euro and it acomodates 2 meters , but this is also a good option and more cheap than the link provided from ebay :P

Well, as long as you are not but off by the people around you constantly muttering 'dont ask, dont tell!' to themselves...

People who do that have bigger issues than the colour of a pouch.

I have a pouch, the genuine one, but I don't use it. My fluke is just banging around in my lab naked.
They are made pretty tough. I really don't need that case.
