uCurrent & oscilloscope

Is it possible to use the uCurrent in place of a shunt resistor with an oscilloscope to measure current / time?
How reliable would that be in terms of response time?

In my dumbness I'm currently considering the uCurrent an alternative to 3 precision shunt resistors, but I understand the active amplification part might introduce some limits in terms of response time...

Yes, you can, just make sure the DUT is floating. On the low-end of uA range (~5uA) it was quite noisy on the scope though. It does average out to the same values I get on my meter, and using integration seems to be quite accurate too, even in the presence of noise.
