Fluke 5205A Timer Question
« on: May 15, 2017, 04:13:33 pm »
Just purchased a Fluke 5205A in very good shape but I have a question about what looks like a fuse holder that is labeled "Timer" on the back of the unit.  Mine has nothing in it and I have not been able to find any information about it or even a picture of it in any manuals I have found.  I have seen this same feature on a couple of Fluke 5205A's I have seen for sale but most don't seem to have it so my guess is that it was a late addition to the latter Fluke 5205A's made.  Just want to know what its purpose is and what the replacement part is?
Thanks for any information you may have on this,
ScottA

Fluke part #682161 fits in and is a "fuse" like indicator.  The indicator is a 5000 hour device.  The attachment is of a similar device.
