It's a precision DC voltage, current, and resistance source, to begin with.

A new old stock one sold recently on eBay, listed for $3k, best offer accepted.  I'd think that sounds like the way to go.  $1,500 appears to be for ones that have been dragged behind a truck...

eBay can be deceptive about actual selling prices and I've seen it firsthand both with things I've sold and that I've bought.

Here's one listed as sold for $1500 that looks fairly good:

There's an allegedly NOS one with calibration paperwork up for bids that is currently at $1692 and ending soon.

I saw a sold one that wasn't mint but not excessively rough and sold as 'USED' meaning they guarantee it works (by eBay policy, even if they didn't test it) and that went BIN for $800.

Maybe some go for more, IDK.  That's all the mystery of eBay--YMMV.

It looks like the auctioned one with calibration paperwork went for $2850, higher than I expected.  So perhaps get a quote on calibration from Fluke, it might be worthwhile.

I think there are at least a few listing permutations:
- calibrate to prove it's 100% good to go
- get a DMM and show proof all the functions at least work
- list as unknown, don't even turn it on

In all cases I'd probably suggest listing it as-is, no returns, just to avoid drama.

Could try listing it here on the EEVblog marketplace forum, although it seems more like something a company would want vs. a hobbyist.

Seems like no matter what you should expect $2k - $3k for it.
