fluke 83V displays shortly F83 at initialization.
« on: July 07, 2021, 07:30:43 pm »
Dear brother and sisters,
1234308-0
I have a (small) question, my Fluke 83V multimeter displays shortly the code "F83" when I initialize the meter. It seems further to function normally. Searching the forum and internet does not revile an answer. The manual is not helping either, so no RFTM :-) I only find that error codes (if thatch it is it,..) are proprietary to Fluke :-(
Does anyone has a tip, or answer for me what the F83 is indicating?
Some day it will be …

That message indicates that you have a Fluke 83.

Now I have to dig into the Fluke manuals and see any of the manuals mentioned this fact. I have many Fluke and it seems natural but don't know if the manual would say so.

The question you should be asking is: Is it possible to hack a 83V in a 87V?
