Fluke 87V Max and NiMH batteries ?

Just wanted to check if someone has tested the Fluke 87V Max multimeter with NiMH rechargeable batteries or do you get the "bAT" warning with these ?
Tried to google it and found only one person who commented with a Fluke 28-II where it didn't work.
Would prefer if anyone with a Fluke 87V Max could test and report back as there could have been small adjustments on the newer board revisions compared to the 28-II..
Even better if someone could check at which voltage the "bAT" warning triggers.

      My Fluke 189, with the C-Cell adapter works very well on sub-C NiMH batts.  I recently converted so I don't know their longevity yet

Fluke 28 II works form with IKEA rechargeable batteries, no low battery indicator after two weeks.
She should be almost identical to Max.

I should add that rechargeable batteries are a bit too big for battery compartment,case is a bit bent, so it may be not water resistant, I will be not testing this

I have a 87V Max on order now but they are out of stock currently. I will update this thread when I get it for future reference.

Just got the Fluke 87V Max.

IKEA AA NiMH rechargeable batteries was tested and they work. The batteries are not too big and fits the battery compartment without problems.
