Recommendation diff probe?
« on: December 28, 2018, 12:21:08 am »
Hi folks -

I'd like to find a differential probe mainly for logic-level digital signaling (LVDS etc). Bandwidth of 100-150MHz. There seem to be plenty out there 50MHz and under, and I have one in fact. Also the bigger 'problem' is finding one that's scope agnostic - I often use a variety of scopes: Tek, Keysight, R&S,... so it would have to be powered by battery or externally.

Budget is, well,...differential probes are never cheap, but preference to best bang-for-buck. :)

Thanks!

This is a bit of a sales pitch:
A first production batch of my >1GHz differential probe design is on its way. More info in this thread:

There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

Tempting for my own personal use (going to subscribe to the thread) but for work it may be a tough sell.
