Fluke flash utilities for early Scopemeters

METCAL just a thought.

I saw in an earlier post on this subject that some one listed the original Fluke Metcal procedure for verification and adjustment. From what I remember at the last calibration company I worked for, the sod who used Metcal throughout his work used to password protect it before he went on holiday so that no one else could use it. Unfortunately for him, you could run it in demo mode to get around this. It was basically Flukes way of allowing you to try the program before purchasing it and it worked up to the point of, I think, generating a certificate. It may therefore be possible to actually do a calibration/adjustment without actually having a Fluke 5700 calibrator, just the demo software.  Not sure about any dongle that was fitted between the Windows 98 computer and the 5700 though.

Correction to previous post, looks like all the LCD are, as quoted in the manual, I shape and L shape. IE side connections on the top of the LCD, top connections on the bottom of the LCD.
