Title: Fluke 16xx series multifunction installation tester
Post by: wertyu on May 14, 2022, 09:20:25 am
Just bought this off auction, no battery or leads it turns on with my power supply so i am going to by a battery pack for it.

My question is the 3 pin live lead connector , will it work with a normal test lead or do i need to buy a proprietary Fluke lead.

The live test lead includes a control button to start the test. I don't know if it's a simple switch, or sends serial data, though I would suspect the former.

NB: The input protection on these is not up to the usual Fluke standards, at least in terms of meter robustness; they have a tendency to die if connected to a power source (ie UK mains) when in continuity mode, something an F87 would (most likely) survive...

Yes, it is just a switch.
